Here’s how mom, Rania Khouri, describes the brand: Stella & Me was founded in 2012 by a mother and daughters’ love for dogs and fashion. It all started when Celine, the daughter, wanted to dress like her dog, Stella. Rania, the mother began helping Celine search high and low for matching outfits to fulfill her wish. However, when neither could find what they had in mind, they decided it was time to create their own line of matching outfits. Soon enough, Stella & Me was created.
Stella, the principle behind the brand, is a rescue pup, adopted in 2009.
Over the past couple of years, Stella & Me has been featured in press like Pet Product News and participated as the sole pet fashion designer for a Bloomingdale’s runway show, featuring New York Giants football players and the rescue organization, Pet Rescue, out of Larchmont, New York.
