52 Snapshots of Life Photo Challenge: Week 17 – Below!
What’s that?? A low-flying bird, a crumb from a treat? No! It’s a BUG! Bugs are crawlers non-grata in our house. Sophie and Jasper stalk, investigate, explore and chase. I thought cats did that, but Isabel can’t seem to be bothered. For this week’s 52 Snapshots of Life photo challenge, the theme is Below. I chose this picture I snapped of Jasper eyeing a creepy crawlers on the floor of our apartment. It was just a matter of time before that unwitting creature had a playdate with a puppy.

1-2-3 jump….. our kitties wouldn’t be so patient if they spotted a bug.
I hear you! Jasper waits like a Jedi. Sophie, on the other hand, skitters around the room, frantically trying to catch the thing, even if it’s a fly and there’s no way, no chance of her catching it. LOL

Yeah my last dog, India, did too. I guess it’s the prey drive. India was a 95 lb German Shepherd and she would stalk and catch and eat the things, which was good, I guess, because we lived in a place where we’d find funny looking bugs in the house. Ewww! 🙂 Not a bug person; sorry.
I love it – I bet that bug didn’t know what hit it! It looks like Jasper takes his job of keeping the house bug free very seriously! 🙂
