Welcome to Bark and Swagger: the Ultimate Voice in Doggy Fashion
Welcome! Sophie and I are excited to be sharing our passion for fashion, dog fashion, that is and look forward to bringing you helpful information, reviews and tips on all aspects of dressing and caring for your dog and his or her wardrobe. Say “hi,” Sophie!
What We’re About
Imagine standing at the crossroads of global cultures and style as we highlight the most interesting designs in our International Style:Spotlight On…section. Or maybe you’re looking for something cute and trendy on a budget. We’ll be covering great style in our Fabulous Fashions for Less section. Runway revelations; covered. Celebrity dog news; covered. There’s even a Let’s Go Shopping page that transports you on to a whirlwind shopping spree to find a different featured item for any occasion. And Sophie will be chiming in with her own Sophie’s Weekly Fashion Tip, while I’ll be highlighting a particular design in my Jody Recommends: A Design to Die For.
Our How To page will serve as a resource and will regularly feature solutions and suggestions to challenges around everything from how to properly clean a dog garment to how to find the best fabrics for garments, depending on where you live.
And because we all love dogs and it breaks our hearts to hear about those without loving homes, Sophie and I will be shining a spotlight each month on a Shelter Star in the hopes one of you fall in love.
We Want to Hear from You
We’ll be scouring the internet for the best, most interesting information. But, we also want to hear from you! So please make use of our Ask Jody and Sophie page as a place to tell us what you would like to see covered and for asking questions not addressed on the site. Sophie and I look forward to sharing lots of great, useful information with you about the furry friends and family members we love so much.
Until next time…
Interesting info. My son has 6 pit bulls and they are the most loving dogs i have come across. Many are afraid of them but it is not the dogs. Like anything else, one or two incidents and it’s tagged for all. I like the Shelter Star. Nice work!
Hi Pam – It’s so sad but true. Pits are a very maligned breed when, in truth, a dangerous dog means a dangerous owner. I also find, as you probably do, that pitbull incidents are reported more regularly than with other breeds, so it feeds the fire.
So glad you like the site. It is a work in progress. 🙂 I’ll be adding the first Shelter Star soon, so, hopefully, you’ll continue to follow us!
Thanks!
Jody
