Delicious, Natural Coat Fresheners for Our Dogs. A Giveaway!
Outdoor play, bouts in the pool, tearing through the dog park, sand digging at the beach…there are so many summer fun ways to get dirty and stinky. Who are we to deny our pups that? Heavens, no! We need a solution or we’ll be bathing our little buggers every day, and we know that’s not healthy. I have a great find for you! These delicious-smelling, natural coat fresheners for our dogs are the perfect way to eliminate the odors of everyday summer play between baths. Let me tell you all about them, then stick around for the giveaway at the end…
Imagine strolling through a garden with lavender and eucalyptus. You turn a corner and the fragrance of sweet orange washes over you. I tried them all on Sophie and Jasper, after an afternoon of swimming and digging in the garden. After a hose off and towel dry, a few spritzes of the lavender and eucalyptus on the back of Sophie’s neck and the sweet orange on Jasper’s made me smile! They smelled delicious and I could’ve sworn they felt refreshed (could that toss of her head mean she was shaking off the moisture? Nah….) 🙂 Jasper, my little man, wasn’t fussed about it all. He figured if mommy wants him to smell good, so be it. He couldn’t care either way (let’s hear it for the boys!).
But, yes! Mommy was happy. Her two fur babies smelled clean and delicious and she knew, if they wanted to have a roll in the garden tomorrow, she was armed with a stinky dog remedy she loved. Hooray for spa products. They let us live life well.
For those who must have them now, all essential oil spritzers are $58.00 and Dog Fashion Spa is offering free shipping in honor of its birthday with the code BDAY! Shop Now.

We just use baby shampoo with lavender and she gets a bath every 2 weeks. I have yet to find anything that works in between baths (and we’ve tried several), so she just gets one often enough. Would love to try this product. She’ll jump in the tub, so it’s not like she hates them :o)
Hi Marlene – lavender shampoo sounds really nice. give this a try, either by entering the giveaway or shopping with the free shipping they’re offering for their birthday. Would love to know what you think. What I like about these is they’re fresh, smelling. Those dry shampoos are powdery; don’t like them. This reminds me of the Edward Cayce aromatherapy water spritzers I use on my own face every day.
I wet a flannel cloth then add a few drops of Bergamot oil. Rub it all over my cocker spaniel’s fur.He seems to like it.
Sounds really nice, Glena. There are so many beautiful, healthy essential oils for dogs that make them smell great, calm them, perk them up, etc. We just have to know what we’re doing with them so its safe. We use some of the Earthheart products, too, which are aromatherapy based with essential oils.
