52 Snapshots of Life Photo Challenge: Week 12 – Green
I love this shade! It’s the ultra suede fabric I used for some pieces in my Couture by Sophie The Icons Collection. I like how it pops and the richness of the color, and it’s perfect for this week’s 52 Snapshots of Life Photo Challenge theme – Green! Sophie and Jasper weren’t thrilled to pose for this pic, but acquiesced when they saw a yummy treat in their immediate future. 🙂 I probably should’ve take the cardboard poster roll out of the background, but it’s Saturday, chores day, and there’s lots to do!
My pet blogging friend and colleague, Christina Berry of The Lazy Pitbull, created this fun challenge. You don’t have to be a blogger to participate. Just snap or choose a pic you’ve taken that matches that week’s theme and post it on your social networks, with the hashtag #52Snapshots, so we can all follow along! For pet bloggers, this is a BlogHop, so hop on!
Too true about both the treat bribes and something in the background every time. Wish I was organized like the bloggers who have backdrops and actually use them 🙂
I’m not that organized either, Amy! LOL I just happened to remember I had this piece of fabric in the closet, pulled it out and draped it on the chair. That’s it! Jasper will do anything for a treat and Sophie has become more like that since Jasper. That’s a good thing, except when you want to get them to do something without one. Practice practice practice…:-)
Whoa! Such a great foto. I bet if you used a drawing or painting filter, it’d look old fashioned too.
Hi Cathy! Thanks! That’s actually a great idea! Maybe will try that when I’m fiddling around in Picmonkey. I have become a huge fan of Picmonkey. I don’t have Photoshop and don’t know how to use it either, so this has allowed me to do things I always wanted to but couldn’t. Pretty cool!
That is a such a pretty green! It looks to me like the dogs are posing perfectly. 🙂
I swear, whenever I download my photos I end up with something in the background that I should have moved! Then I’m usually too pressed for time to re-do it, so just have to live with it. I actually thought your cardboard tube was a lamppost, but now I see it was kind of crooked for that.
Hi Jan! It happens a lot! LOL I have to plan my photos better I guess. And this challenge is good practice! 🙂
