Are You the Dog Mom of the Year? Enter the Dog is Good Contest & Proclaim It!
Calling all dog moms! Well, not just any dog moms. The extra special, caring, nurturing, most fun ever dog moms! All of those dog moms in the house, listen up for a very cool contest during the month of May. Dog is Good, the company that celebrates all things dog and who is sponsoring the Bark and Swagger Mother’s Day Dog Mom Tote Giveaway, has got another goodie up their paw…uh, sleeve. The first, annual Dog Mom of the Year Award has kicked off and we don’t want to be left out of the fun!
The Dog Mom of the Year Award is presented by Petplan, the pet insurance company, which is great, because we know how important having pet insurance can be. Our family is going through that right now. My two kitty babies are sick…both of them! They’re seniors and things happen when you become a senior. If we didn’t have insurance, we’d be in trouble. Imagine how amazing it would be to win a full year of free pet insurance. Wow! Check out the prizes below…
If you’re not the Grand Prize winner, don’t worry. There are 10 finalist prize packages, too! It’s really simple to enter. Go to the Dog is Good dedicated Facebook page here, write a brief description of what makes a great Dog Mom and attach a photo of that Mom and her dog, and you’re in! Easy peasy.
The wonderful sponsors helping Dog is Good and Petplan bring you this contest, many of whom I know and love, are: Earth Heart, DogTV, PetHub, K9 Bytes, Natural Paws, by nature, LeashYourFitness.com, Furlocity, Stylish Canine and Sunny-dog Ink.
Wait, there’s a discount promo code in your future!
Dog is Good is offering a fun mix of great Mother’s Day gifts celebrating the bond we have with our pups. And, they have been kind enough to give Bark and Swagger readers a promo code for a 15% discount! Peruse the gifts and see if something strikes your fancy:
You have a wealth of choices. You could enter the Dog Mom of the Year Award contest, you could go Mother’s Day shopping with a discount code or…you could really splurge and do both! I’ve never been a great window shopper, so I’m in!
Look, you already know you’re a great dog mom. Celebrate with lots of dog moms across the country. Happy Dog Mom’s Day, everyone!
I’m loving the tote, and I think the cell phone case and magnet are pretty awesome, too. What’s your favorite Dog is Good Mother’s Day gift? Tell me in the Comments below.
Hi guys!
My name is Brittany Krzos. I have an 8 month old german shepherd female who is my world. Her name is Sheba. I take her everywhere with me and spend all my time with her! She is a wonderful girl! I also volunteer for an animal rescue in the southtowns where I live. We provide a pet food kitchen, emergency surgery, and training for people in need who have fallen on hard times! Not to mention we also help animals in need at the local shelter! So, on top of my full time job in healthcare, I spend a lot of time helping animals and being a full time doggy mom!!
Thank you for your time!
Hi Brittany – Thanks so much for sharing this! I’m so sorry it took a bit to respond. I’ve been at a conference and sick, to boot! You are one of the angels for animals and I so appreciate everything you do. I would love to see a picture of Sheba. My last dog was a 95 lb German Shepherd named India. She was amazing and I still miss her.
I’m the mom of 5 rescue dogs 1 Austrian Shepard 4 years old ,1 cattle dog 6 years old and 3 Australian Shepard mixed 1 is 2 years old and the other 2 are brother and sister and they are 1 year old. I love my dogs and can’t imagine life with out them. Maya my cattle dog was from a puppy mill , she was very sick when I adopted her. She had pancreatic issues , after countless test an sending her blood to Texas A&M she’s as healthy as an ox .she will be on meds for the rest of he life but I wouldn’t give up on her. My male Aussie Jak ( 4 year old) and my 2 year old mix Casper do not like each other at all . Casper has ben a constant challenge, he has aggression issues but we are working thru his issues, I got him from an irresponsible rescue that was going to put him in a home with small children, thank god I got him because that would have been bad for all involved. And my two beautiful year old pups came from Oklahoma from someone who had an accidental litter they both came cross country in tractor trailers in the cab with the drivers. They are such amazing pups.I have a full tile job but my digs are my kids and the get everything they need or could want!
Hi Lisa! Such a great story! Thanks for sharing. Please send a pic of your dogs. I love how you opened your heart.
I have three fantastic dogs. My youngest, a Belgian Mailinios is from a great line of police dogs. At the age of 4 weeks he was the first one out of the whelping box, barking and “talking” to the breeder. It was noticed that he had a rear leg birth defect. I was asked if I would adopt this special little man. I did and with the help of my co workers, we raised the money to have his leg amputated. He is the wildest dog I know and he is NOT handicapped, he is just missing a leg!! I Named him ABEL because he is able to do everything.
Hi Jennifer! Great story! Warms my heart! Would love pics. Please note I sent you an email re the Mother’s Day Dog Mom Tote yesterday, asking for information. Let me know. Thanks!
