DIY Holiday Gifts for Your Dog Series: Personal Felt Ornament
Do you love projects that have special meaning like I do? The idea of creating an ornament of my dog, one I can use again and again for a variety of things, is perfect! Today’s post in our DIY Holiday Gifts for Your Dog Series is a how-to, your dog ornament of your very own. Think about it: an embellishment for a photo shoot, a gift for a friend, a decorative piece for your home…there are many ways to use this ornament over and over, year round. So, let’s get to it! 🙂
This was created by Abby and Dewey’s mom, who has a blog called the Classic Hound. It’s easy to find silhouettes of just about any kind of dog online, and you can use this as your template to trace the shape of your ornament. Some lovely felt, filler and embellishments are a few of the supplies you’ll need to make a beautiful holiday ornament!
A supplies list and instructions are here.
Our DIY series is brought to you by Earth Heart, the great, natural company making aromatherapy mists for dogs. Bark & Swagger loves Canine Calm and Travel Calm, both of which have worked wonderfully for us!
