52 Snapshots of Life Photo Challenge: This Week…Joyful!
I think I’d add freedom and playful to joyful for this shot of Sophie running in her backyard in Florida. I took this pic a couple of years ago, but love it and wanted to share. I love how joyful she does look, carrying her favorite raccoon tail meets tennis ball toy.
Sophie loves her backyard. The bad news is we just sold this house. The good news is we’re moving down there and have rented a new house with a great, fenced in backyard! So, Sophie and Jasper will be able to romp and play together there, and cool off in the pool when they get hot. Sounds like the Life of Reilly to me, right?! 🙂
But, very few things make me as happy as providing a great life for my fur kids. What about you?

I wish my boy, Oreo, would sit still for some pictures. He HATES them! Every time I grab my phone, he stops dead in his tracks, stares at me and then runs and crawls under the bed. And he’s there until I put the phone away. I got a couple of pictures but not as many as I could if he would sit there. I see so many pictures of people and their pets. I want to show him off to the world but he refuses. Any advice on what I can do?
Well, I know how you feel, Valerie. Sophie hates having her picture taken, too! I have to admit, I bribe her with yummy treats! And, I try and catch her when she least expects it, like when she was running and playing in the yard for the Joyful photo or, when she was sleeping in bed for this week’s Dream photo. Food bribes usually work pretty well! LOL
Nothing like a romp in the yard to bring out those smiles!

We love moving. I’m sure they will love their new yard and pool too. Great shot for joyful!
Thanks, Emma! Where have you moved? I’m feeling a bit nervous about it, but excited, too. I definitely think the dogs will love their new home once they settle in.
